Self Reflections on Our Personal Characteristics:
In all of our lives, there comes a time when we begin to reflect on personal questions such as, “what are some of the traits that define who we are.” Here is a list that is intended to help us view our reflections. There is no right or wrong answer.
The list is intended to make us more conscious of some of the characteristics that identify who we are. However, if we discover some traits that are robbing us of our joy we may want to consider acting on them.
01. I am a worrier.
02. I'm not crafty or sly.
03. I'm pretty set in my ways.
04. I rarely feel lonely or blue.
05. I really like most people I meet.
06. I have a very active imagination.
07. I shy away from crowds of people.
08. I am easy-going and lackadaisical.
09. I am dominant, forceful, and assertive.
10. I have a leisurely style in work and play.
11. I often get angry at the way people treat me.
12. Some people think I'm selfish and egotistical.
13. I'm known for my prudence and common sense.
14. Aesthetic and artistic concerns are very important to me.
15. I tend to be very cynical and skeptical of others' intentions.
16. Without strong emotions, life would be uninteresting to me.
17. I try to perform all the tasks assigned to me conscientiously.
18. I would rather cooperate with others than compete with them.
19. In dealing with other people, I always dread making a social blunder.
20. I would rather keep my options open than plan everything in advance.
